M.Ed music teacher with twenty years experience offering piano, voice, guitar, and theory lessons, virtually and in person in the Portland and Vancouver area. Will travel to you!

I’ve seen Natasha teach piano in two settings. Several years ago she instructed me as I re-entered the world of piano playing after several decades away from the instrument. Subsequent to that, my daughter showed interest in the piano, and she began her learning with Natasha.

As a teacher, I have found Natasha to be very knowledgeable and very patient, and I have appreciated her dedication to helping students achieve to their best ability. She utilizes different approaches with adults and children, but the method of transition from beginner to intermediate and beyond seems to be consistent. I appreciate that consistency.

Both I and my daughter progressed under Natasha’s guidance and teaching, and I think her skills as a musician, her dedication to the fundamentals of the instrument, and her genuine warm personality make her a wonderful choice for a music teacher.

This letter is in reference to Natasha Flynn for the position of a piano instructor. I confidently recommend her for any position involving music instruction services to children and adults.

I have known Natasha for five years, and throughout that time she has consistently demonstrated not only extensive knowledge relating to piano instruction but patience, flexibility, and an adaptive nature as well, stemming from her many years of experience with children, both personally and professionally. Natasha has a wonderful way of connecting with our three young children (currently aged 6, 9, and 10 years), allowing room for fun while learning a disciplined skill. She knows when to challenge them, or be silly with them, guiding them to grow and learn while making even the most challenging task/skill seem attainable. My girls have enjoyed learning piano with Natasha and regard her most fondly. Natasha has a wonderful knack for relating to young children and making learning piano fun.
