About Rebecca
I am a retired public school Music Teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and also a Master's Degree in Music Education with Koda'ly Emphasis. I have been teaching private piano and voice lessons since 1975. I specialize in teaching students of with Special Needs (all ages).

My methodology is based on the individual student's needs. The first lesson is a free evaluation of a student's ability and knowledge. From there I design a program for that individual student based on the initial evaluation. I use various method books which could include Alfred, Bastien, Pace, and many others. I am also a certified ColorSoundation teacher, of which there are only two in this area. ColorSoundation is a program of Aural training designed to develop an excellent sense of pitch thus preparing the student to become a fine musician.
