About Christina
I am in my final year at the Conservatorium of music, majoring in classical piano performance.
I offer to help students and individuals step by step in understanding the basics of music theory, and at the same time, fostering a sharp, observant, analytical ear for music appreciation and consumption.
I have been teaching AMEB musicianship for the past 4 years, with all High Distinction (95+/100) results from students.
I also received Band 6 for both the Music 2 and Music Extension curriculums back in high school, so I am confident in assisting students with the HSC syllabus.

A basic understanding of music theory and notation is necessary to begin on any instrument, and it becomes even more important as you progress onto higher levels, whether it be preparing for an exam or choosing a music elective at school.
My teaching method is based on thoroughness and communication. Tailoring music theory concepts to students of all ages, levels, and personality, while using acclaimed materials for structure.
