About Alexandros
I am a programmer and new media artist. I have a PhD from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Birmingham City University, on the creation of musical works with the Python programming language, while my previous studies were on the classical guitar. I am passionate about teaching computer programming, and especially Python, as this is one of my basic tools.
I have recently completed a Postdoc research at the Cyprus University of Technology on instant synthesis for computer-controlled acoustic instruments through live coding and AI and have taught Music Technology at the Music Department of the Ionian University in Corfu, Greece. I am currently a Researcher at the MADLab, in Cyprus.

About the lesson

With a practice-based approach, the lessons provide hands-on experience to students. At the same time, the necessary theoretical background to grasp programming concepts is provided, before these are applied to real code.
Using my book "The Python Audio Cookbook", the lessons follow its flow, although these lessons are not aimed at music and audio (but can as well be).
The lessons can adapt to the needs of each student.
Lesson duration is one hour.
I have taught computer programming aimed at music at a University level at the Ionian University in Greece and other institutes.
All ages and levels are welcome.
