About Avery

I have been a musician for the last 13 years. I started out playing drums in the band at my church then I grew to love the guitar. My dream has always been to become an artist that travels and plays original music all over the place. I'm happy to say that for the last year, I have been able to do that. I have taught others to play their instruments well enough to go out and do the same. If playing music is your dream, I would love to work with you! And if it's just a hobby, I would also love to work with you! Music is powerful, and it doesn't have to be a job for it to be impactful!

About the lesson

My goal is to get you playing a song you want to play on your first day. Even if that's only part of it, progress is progress. The last thing I want is for you to feel bored. Music Theory is important, but so is getting what you want out of your instrument. Theory comes with time. Sometimes what you need is to get a feeling out of your instrument and play. We will cover all the basics in music theory but we will also get straight to playing the songs YOU want to play.
