About Haley
I grew up in Kansas City and discovered my love for theater at a young age—what started as a fun hobby quickly turned into a lifelong passion. As I pursued performing through childhood and into college, I found myself equally drawn to teaching. I realized I didn’t just want to act—I wanted to help others discover their own love for theater, too. I earned my BA in Musical Theater from Loyola University Chicago, followed by an MA in Teaching and Instruction from Avila University. Since then, I’ve spent the past seven years teaching and directing, all while continuing to grow my professional acting career in the Kansas City area. Blending performance and education has become my calling, and I’m passionate about helping students of all levels explore, grow, and thrive onstage.

Want to grow in your craft as an actor? Never been onstage but curious why people fall in love with performing? Or maybe you're just looking for a new hobby that could grow into a lifelong passion. Wherever you are on your journey, you've come to the right place.
My approach to teaching is rooted in two core beliefs: that everyone can learn to act, and that imagination is one of the most powerful tools an artist can develop. Acting is about exploration, play, and honesty—and I’m here to help guide you through all of it in a supportive, creative environment.
I work with students at all levels, from those stepping onstage for the very first time to more experienced performers seeking to sharpen their technique. Whether you want to build foundational acting skills, prepare for auditions, understand what casting directors are really looking for, or simply explore the craft for fun—I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow from there.
Together, we can work on everything from confidence-building and stage presence to script analysis, character development, and audition prep. No matter your goal, I’m excited at the prospect of being your teacher and helping you bring your most authentic, expressive self to the stage.
