About Juanita
Nashville is where I spend most of my days working with singers. Being part of the musical theater scene for 8 years has shaped how I hear a performance. I currently teach voice to a wide range of students including teens and busy working professionals. Those 13 years of teaching have taught me that vocal growth happens in the quiet moments.
Absolute beginners and intermediate learners often find their footing through simple consistent practice. Seeing a student finally nail a difficult phrasing choice is what makes this work so fun.

Sometimes I worry that students focus too much on volume rather than control. We start by looking at breathing and basic health before moving into belting or genre styling. I use my 13 years of experience to help you balance head and chest voice effectively.
We will work on rhythm and phrasing during every single meeting. Each month we review your performance recordings together to track your growth. This differentiator ensures you see exactly how your audition material evolves over time. I bring my microphone technique and stage wisdom into the room.
It feels good to see progress happen in real time. My goal is to make sure you feel confident when you stand on a stage. I truly love the process of building a song from the ground up.
