About Monique
I am an educator for youth with special needs, and have a B.A. with a focus in Psychology and Music Therapy. I have been playing instruments (mostly guitar, piano and saxophone) and singing since I was a little one, and have also been a semi professional musician/singer. I would love to help you bring out your inner musician and make learning music fun, while setting realistic goals that you can happily achieve. Whether you want to learn just for yourself, to be able to join in with others, or even play in front of a group, I am happy to share my experience with you!

I will work with you to find what results you are seeking, then base the lesson around your learning style. If you prefer more structure, we can set out a clear picture of how the lessons will go. We will cover the basics of music, while developing real skills each lesson. I also encourage my students to practice outside of the lessons regularly, to further develop these skills. Making learning fun is super important! So my approach is that we can just be ourselves and enjoy this process.
