About Dakari

I am an educator by career so I understand the importance of working with students and I use teaching methods to effectively convey teachings. I teach from 2 different books—depending on the student—to best get the best from students. I am excited to work with you!

About the lesson

I am a patient instructor that understands the importance of methodical and foundational instruction and development. I have an electric drumset that I teach and practice on. I teach fundamentals in a fun and exciting way that is tailored to the student.

Perfect! Dakari is a fantastic teacher. As a beginner, I felt nervous going into the first lesson, but he's so friendly and approachable that I immediately felt at ease. He’s great at breaking things down in a clear, accessible way, and I love how he balances learning the fundamentals with actually playing songs you enjoy. He uses your favorites to teach the core techniques, which makes it both fun and motivating. He’s genuinely enthusiastic about teaching and helping you grow as a drummer. I left our first session feeling excited and ready to learn more. Highly recommend working with him!
