About Kristen
"Holding a diploma from the Musicians Institute Hollywood helps me break down music for my 196 students. It feels like we are just hanging out in the studio. I simplify scales and modes for busy working professionals. Power chords become accessible after a few quick shifts.
I teach 13 years of experience into every session. Intermediate learners find the tuning and maintenance tips very useful. I enjoy seeing students finally write their own songs. It is a genuine highlight of my week."

"You arrive and we plug in immediately to get the sound right. We start with some reading tabs to get your fingers moving. I provide custom backing tracks for your soloing practice.
This is the core of our time together. It is effective. We focus on getting your strumming patterns tight and rhythmic.
My approach is to keep things grounded in the music you like. I prefer to keep the technical side practical and useful for real life."
