About Troilee
Myself Dr. TROILEE DUTTA, an internationally acclaimed sarod player belong to Senia Maihar gharana. I am disciple of great Sarod maestros Pt. Kamal Mallick and Pt Partho Sarathy ( disciple of Bharat Ratna Pt Ravi Shankar).
I am a National scholar and graded artist of All India Radio. I achieved gold medal in my masters on instrumental music and completed my PhD with senior research fellowship by UGC NET. I recieved the prestigious Sangeet Ratna award from Bangiya Sangeet Parishad and secured the 1st place in both the competitions organized by Dover Lane Music Conference and Sri Aurobindo Institute of Culture.
I have performed many musical soirees across India and around the world. In 2017, I was invited to perform in front of the honorable PM of India Mr. Narendra Modi ji. I represented Indian music for the global audiences in Italy, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, UAE and Bangladesh.
As I am a devotee of music, I consider it's my duty to convey the language of music among all. It'll be great if I can share my experience, knowledge and thought with you !!
