About Maria

I was born in Bogota Colombia and currently live in West Virginia (USA). I have 7 years of experience as a music teacher and 1 year of experience teaching Spanish.
I am an organized, patient and understanding person with every process. I make every class fun and productive.

About the lesson

I will use the Communicative Approach to ensure that students develop practical and effective language skills. This approach focuses on real and meaningful communication, prioritizing interaction and the use of Spanish in authentic contexts.

Advantages of the Communicative Method:

Practical Relevance: Students learn to use Spanish in real situations, which increases their motivation and confidence.
Active Participation: Dynamic and participatory activities encourage deeper and longer lasting learning.
