I am Austin Smart, a patient math tutor with after-school program experience. My sessions are calm, organized, and built around Common Core standards. You will receive a half-page summary of each lesson. I am reliable, clear, and fully focused on your homework completion, quiz scores, and long-term math confidence. I give a five-question prerequisite check to find missing foundation skills first. A typical 55-minute lesson includes a number sense warm-up, concept introduction with anchor charts, guided practice with verbal checks, independent problem set, and a two-question exit slip. My strength is turning messy work into clear, numbered steps. My students include 5th through 10th graders, pre-algebra through Algebra 1 learners, and students preparing for state standardized tests.
