Hi, my name is Ayzah and I am a current University student studying for a healthcare degree. I teach Maths on Superprof as my main subject and cover this up to GCSE level (WJEC) I do most subjects too

About Ayzah
I love Maths and everything in between, I do a STEM degree at University, where we sit a Maths exam annually. Therefore, in teaching others about this subject I also help myself recall these topics whilst simultaneously igniting passion in younger pupils for this dynamic, pertinent and pivotal subject in the modern world.

I like to explain the topic to embed an understanding of the concept being taught to my students and then giving them the freedom to apply these with past paper questions that I can mark during the lesson to give them the skill of being able to apply that topic or newly taught concept more actively in their studies.
I also implement consistent active recall of content based from last lesson to encourage my pupils to look over what I have taught them in the past outside of lessons to make the most of their tuition fees and the time they spend outside of school revising. In doing so also helping them to gain independence and develop a logical path to formulating their own self-structured revision schedule to prepare for other subjects as well using the foundations from these lessons.
I believe it is of great significance that my pupils gain a holistic understanding and approach to the topics I teach, as everything that is taught from GCSE level tends to reciprocate and reflect on material in later years, and these core foundations are built upon even further in higher education, meaning my lessons are structured to equipping them with the core scaffolding of the rules and conventions regarding the material being taught to them. Having said that, I am open to my pupils interrupting me to ask questions, as I understand my job on this platform is to make sure they do not leave my lessons with questions, or with as little as possible than what they came in with.
