As the Head of the Law Society, I regularly presented complex ideas, led discussions, and guided peers, which strengthened my ability to explain information clearly, logically, and confidently. Hi! My name is Felix Lim. Having experienced the challenges of the IB firsthand, I am supportive in helping students with demanding academic tasks. My teaching style is adaptable, focusing on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. Preceding the IB, I have worked with younger students in a classroom setting, learning how to adapt my teaching style to different paces of learning. My aim is to not only help students improve their grades but also develop their resilience.
Academically, I achieved strong results in the IB, earning a score of 42/45. Furthermore, I have taught English and Mathematics for IGCSE students in UWC Dover for a few months, working with students of different abilities and helping them strengthen their foundational skills, exam techniques, and confidence in both subjects. Through this experience, I learned how to explain concepts clearly and support students with varying learning needs.
