I am Kenneth Cahela, a seasoned piano teacher with band and choral accompanying experience. My studio is focused yet warm, designed around your upcoming performance dates. You will get a short video demonstration of your hardest measure. I am steady, kind, and truly satisfied when you finally relax into a difficult passage. Your steady progress is my reward.

I examine your finger curve and wrist follow-through during a simple five-finger pattern. A typical 55-minute session includes warm-up repetitions, interval recognition games, studying two lines of new repertoire, rhythm clapping drills, and a one-sentence take-home reminder. My specialty is smoothing choppy phrasing and balancing melody against accompaniment. My students include elementary grade beginners, middle schoolers prepping for spring recitals, high school theory students, and older adults rejoining the bench.
