About Laura

I have always wanted to be a teacher and find learning a new language an enticing and rewarding experience. My time spent teaching only further confirmed that teaching is the path for me and something I am passionate about. I enjoy getting to know my students and their strengths and weaknesses and using that information to aid their learning. I am in my final year of education as a teacher and have reached the proficient language level to be recognized by the Irish teaching council as a new educator.

About the lesson

Due to my course of study I have studied language pedagogy and educational philosophy, in other words how students learn best. I believe it is important to not only be able to write and read a language but also speak it. I offer online lessons usually an hour long. My previous tutoring experience had been with secondary school students preparing for exams, however I am more than open to helping any age improve their German or learn the language from scratch. I have a wide variety of resources available to me for students of different levels and learning styles.
