About Madylyn
I am Madelyn Gordon, a French tutor with experience in both classroom and one-on-one settings. My lessons are patient, structured, and built around your current proficiency level. You will receive a short vocabulary list with pronunciation notes after each session. I am encouraging, organized, and genuinely excited when you form your first full sentence. Your fluency and confidence in French drive my teaching.

I listen for accent accuracy and common grammar errors during a short conversation first. A typical lesson includes vocabulary flashcard review, verb tense practice with examples, guided sentence building, pronunciation repetition, listening comprehension with short audio clips, and a written exit task. My specialty is helping students gain confidence speaking without fear of mistakes. My students include 3rd through 10th graders, middle school French beginners, high school students preparing for exams, and adult learners planning travel to French-speaking countries.
