About Mara
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and several years of professional experience working with children and teenagers. I really enjoy working with people, learning about different cultures, and helping others feel comfortable and confident.
Because I have lived in both Germany and the United States, I understand what it is like to communicate across different languages and cultures. I know that learning a new language can feel intimidating at first — especially when you’re afraid of making mistakes. That’s why I want my lessons to be a relaxed and encouraging place where you can practice German without pressure.
