About Olivia

My name is Olivia and I am studying Neuroscience at King’s College London. Having studied GCSEs and A levels within two years of one another, I have trialled and tested many different study methods to find which worked best for me in achieving top grades. Studying can often be tiring and quite boring, but in my lessons, I aim to make learning an enjoyable and creative task so that it feels less monotonous.

About the lesson

My main aim is for my students to understand the foundations of the subject and then build upon them using problem-solving skills, with my guidance and support. A strong understanding of a topic often involves approaching it from different perspectives. It is important that, as a student, you find the methods that work best for you, enabling you not only to retain information but also to apply it to different types of questions and problems.

My lessons follow a carefully tailored approach designed to maximise understanding, while finding fun and engagiing ways to tackle a range of questions. I aim to create an environment where students feel confident in exploring new approaches and developing the skills they need to combat problems independently.
