About Rachel
I love music because of the way it brings people together. With years of experience in tutoring, I am a patient and passionate teacher with an emphasis on helping the student find self-motivation and pride in the subject. My personal journey with music over my life has been all about finding the sounds, styles, and techniques that feel like me. I believe that music is one of the most universal forms of expression and with creative and curated lessons I provide my students with a toolkit of relevant skills to help them find their own voice.

I am familiar teaching students of different learning styles and skill levels. It is important to me to find a way of teaching that works for the individual student.
As for the content of the lessons, I have played piano with many musicians coming from many backgrounds. This gives me an advantage to be able to gear lessons towards the kind of music the student likes. I find that learning an instrument is much easier and more inspiring when the student is able to relate to the material.
