About Shristi
Hi everyone,
My name is Shristi and I am a law student at University with A* grades in my A-level subjects and 8s and 9s in my GCSEs. In addition, to my academic achievement, I am passionate about sports and fitness and I enjoy travelling and learning about new cultures. In my free time I usually travel to countries I would never imagine I could travel to. I am also a trilingual speaker, fluent in English, Italian and Bengali. One of my hobbies is creating journals and reading crime books which allows me to explore my creativity and express myself through writing and journaling my journeys.
I want to teach because I am passionate about helping others achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential as I understand the difficulties that a students go as they receive less resources or teach materials which are irrelevant to most of the topics which are important. Throughout my academic journey, I have always enjoyed helping my peers understand difficult concepts and develop effective study strategies.
As a tutor, I hope to share my knowledge and experience with my students, helping them built their confidence and achieve academic success. I believe that everyone has the potential to excel academically but they need extra support to do so. As a tutor, I will work closely with my students to understand their individual learning styles and tailor my teaching approach to meet their unique needs. I will provide clear explanations of difficult concepts l, offer plenty of practice opportunities and give constructive feedback to help my students improve their understanding of the material.
As a law student with a passion for sports, travel and learning new cultures with trilingual proficiency, I want to help my students achieve their academic goals and succeed in their studies. I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your full potential.

My lessons are designed for students aged 6-17 so from primary students to GCSEs and A-level students. I am able to support in math, science, English or Italian for students up until GCSEs. I work with students who want to improve their grades, prepare for their exams or simply enhance their knowledge of their subject.
The typical length of a lesson depends on the students age and attention span. For younger students, I usually recommend shorter sessions of around 45/50 minutes to an hour, while older students can handle longer sessions of up to two hours.
My teaching methodology involves using variety of techniques and strategies to engage students and help them retain information. For example, I use PowerPoints or visual aids, real world examples to make the learning more interesting and relatable. I also provide past exam papers to demonstrate how exams are going to be. I also provide regular feedback to students, both positive and constructive, to help them improve their understanding of the material.
I strive to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment, where students feel encouraged to ask question and participate actively in the learning process.
