About Ethan
Hi! I'm Ethan, an engineering student who is passionate about math, physics, chemistry, and core engineering subjects. Between my full-time job, staying active, and working on passion projects, I’ve learned how to stay disciplined, focused, and full of energy. I bring that same positive energy to every tutoring session. I love making learning fun and enjoyable. My goal is to help you not only understand difficult concepts but actually look forward to solving problems. Whether we’re working through calculus, physics, chemistry, circuits, or any other engineering fundamentals, I focus on building your confidence through clear explanations and active participation. Students appreciate my patient, encouraging style and the way I make challenging material feel approachable. I use helpful diagrams, real-world examples from engineering projects, and plenty of interactive problem-solving so you truly grasp the “why” behind the formulas — not just how to plug in numbers.
What you can expect from me: Professional and reliable scheduling, I respect your time
Clear communication and immediate, constructive feedback
A supportive, positive environment where questions are always welcome and mistakes are part of the learning process
Steady progress toward your academic goals, all while keeping things light and fun
I’ve helped fellow students gain confidence and improve their understanding by turning complicated topics into manageable, engaging lessons. If you’re an engineering undergrad struggling with math, physics, chemistry, or any core technical courses, or if you’re a high school student preparing for engineering programs, I’d love to work with you.

I like to teach by guiding you through problems step by step so you actually understand the thought process, not just memorize the solution. I ask questions to help you figure things out yourself instead of me just explaining everything. This way, you build stronger problem-solving skills that you can use on new and tougher problems later.
I also use simple diagrams, sketches, and drawings (on a shared whiteboard or paper) to make abstract ideas much clearer. Whenever possible, I connect the concepts to real-world engineering examples so everything feels more practical and easier to remember.
