About Carson
I have been playing and studying music for 11 years, including touring and session work at a professional level, teaching lessons intermittently. I have taught many guitar and banjo lessons at the Norman Music Institution, Firey Brother's Music Store, and Independently. I have helped all of my students with their understanding of their instruments and increasing their repertoire in a stress free enjoyable environment.

I am a college graduate who studied music performance, music theory, songwriting and ear training at the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. I teach beginner to advanced lessons. My method is to cover the basics, (if just starting out) and then move in the direction of what you want to achieve musically. I like to keep the lessons fun and stress free but productive and efficient.
