About Harsh
My teaching approach is fully structured and beginner-friendly. I start by assessing the student’s current level and then create a customized learning plan. Each class includes a mix of theory, live examples, tactical puzzles, and practice games to strengthen decision-making. I focus on: Building strong fundamentals Teaching openings in a simple and practical way Improving tactics with daily exercises Middle-game strategy & planning Endgame technique Time management for rapid & blitz Game analysis and mistake correction My goal is to make students confident, disciplined, and smart decision-makers on the board. I ensure every class is interactive, enjoyable, and result-oriented.

I have been actively guiding beginner and intermediate chess students, helping them build strong fundamentals and develop confidence in their game. As an internationally rated player (1556) and an intercollegiate chess tournament winner, I use my competitive experience to teach in a clear, step-by-step manner.
My sessions focus on essential concepts such as piece movement, basic to advanced tactics, opening principles, middle-game planning, and endgame mastery. Students enjoy my friendly teaching style, simple explanations, and practical approach. I ensure every student understands the "why" behind each move, helping them grow quickly and improve their rating.
