About Jewel Chrisxia
I am one of the Music Ambassadors of our province in the Philippines and a national competition performer with experience participating and winning awards in music competitions. I have been involved in music performance for more than 5 years, gaining experience through school programs, workshops, cultural events, and community performances. My background has allowed me to develop both technical skill and a strong understanding of guiding students in a supportive and structured way.
I believe music is something anyone can learn as long as they have the interest to start learning it. My approach as a tutor is to encourage students patiently and help them build confidence step by step, regardless of their starting level.
I value discipline and enjoyment in learning, ensuring that each student develops not only skills but also confidence and motivation in their musical journey.

My teaching approach is beginner-friendly, practical, and flexible to each student’s goals while building strong musical foundations. Lessons usually follow a structure of warm-up, technique development, guided song practice, and activities that help students apply what they learn with confidence. Each session runs for 1 hour and is designed to keep students engaged while developing real skills at a comfortable pace.
For drums, I teach basic beats, timing, rhythm, coordination, stick control, drum notation, fill-ins, transitions, playing with songs, and performance confidence. For guitar, I teach chords, strumming, fingerstyle, reading tabs and sheet music, rhythm, and performance confidence. My goal is to help students enjoy learning while improving steadily.
For drums, I have taught in schools, music centers, served as a drum workshop teacher under our province’s music organization, and worked as a trainer for summer music programs in our city. For guitar, I have taught in workshops and elementary schools. My lessons are open to all ages and levels through one-on-one or group classes.
