About Ayesha

Hello, my name is Ayesha and I have an experience of teaching online and in a prestigious educational institution of Pakistan for the last 10 years. In my entire teaching journey, I have taught around 400 students from 60 countries for more than 10,000 hours in total, if that matters. However, I am a staunch advocate that ‘quality’ is important than the quantity!
Hence, let me tell you more about the ‘quality’ that you are going to have in my lessons. My lessons are not just about conventional teaching but it will be a wholesome ‘language acquisition journey’ for you where you can make mistakes, you will never feel bored or pressured and each lesson will bring you closer to your language learning goal in the most natural and effortless manner. I really enjoy teaching and that you are going to witness from my first lesson.

I am right here for you!
My lessons are super interactive, well-guided and full of energy. I send the notes of every single point we discuss in our lesson and so that is a proof of how I will customize the lessons for you where every example will be relatable to your everyday real-life situations. My lessons are going to be well-paced as you would like them to be.

Among all the language teaching methodologies, majority of my beginner-level students were able to speak Urdu well through ‘Communicative teaching methodology’. However, a true educator does not teach all the students through one strategy or methodology so I tend to use them after analyzing the goals, ages and learning needs of my students.
My teaching style is more like a facilitator, mentor and guide rather than a traditional teacher who just gives instructions. I treat every student with love and focus on personalization. I give the necessary feedback carefully and positively and always boost my students that they can reach the moon and sky is the limit. A good teacher develops that spark and self-confidence in students.

I use colorful slides, examples, videos, visuals and fun cross- questioning techniques to grab student's attention and interest. Being a native speaker is not enough to make things easier for students and guarantee their learning so I have come up with easy tips, tricks, formulas, examples and ways after doing thorough research in Urdu language and reading a lot of books. I have prepared notes and slides that are easy to grasp. I will work on building the 'Grammar' and concepts rather mere memorization of vocabulary and sentences.

I teach all ages and all levels from children (age 4 and above) to adults and from beginner to advance-level.
I can help you in all four skills of learning a language i.e.
1. Listening (by offering lessons through showing videos/ ted talks/ motivational videos etc.)
2. Reading (by sharing stories, essays, novels etc. in pdfs on the screen)
3. Writing (by teaching initial, middle and final position, grass letters, root letters and sky letters etc. through slides and then practicing on the digital whiteboard)
4. Speaking (by offering both formal and informal, structured and unstructured, grammar-centric or natural acquisition of language as needed and preferred by you.

For the learners of Reading and Writing:
• I guarantee you would be able to not only write the words but sentences and paragraphs very well with the help of the initial, middle and final positions of the Urdu alphabets (called huroof-e-tehejji) I will guide you with. I won a gold-medal and an award of 150,000 Pkr for winning an essay writing competition that was conducted on a national level. And so it shows my passion for writing and knowing the significance and beauty of it.

For the newlyweds and the ones learning Urdu to be able to communicate with family/ stakeholders and friends:
• If you would like to learn the language of your extended family members, friends, colleagues, your partners and your in-laws, I will help you to be able to connect and communicate with them in a manner that you will win their hearts in no time. Not only teaching you the sentence structure and tenses etc. of Urdu in a step by step manner but also the cultural annotations and nuances associated with them. You will not only be able to understand what they say but also crack jokes with them, watch shows together, answer a phone call and hang out to a relative’s place with confidence. What can be more beautiful to understand what they say and to inspire them that your learned something for their love!

For the learners who are visiting Pakistan or India soon:
• If you are planning to visit Pakistan soon for family or work purposes, I will specially design a course for you where you can learn some basic Urdu in lesser time and impress the native people with your Urdu.

For the learners who are here for the love of learning a new language:
• If you are here for the love of learning a new language, I warmly welcome you to make the learning journey easy, understandable, fun and interesting for you. You don’t need to worry about making mistakes, or complex sentence structures. You will be perfect in accent, pronunciation, and vocabulary in a most natural manner.

For the children who would like to learn Urdu:
• If you want your child to learn Urdu, I will be mentoring by coming to the level of child, showing songs, videos, colorful pictures and toys. Through a mix of creativity and structured learning, my goal is to instill a love for the Urdu language in children and make their educational journey a positive and memorable experience.
My motto is to be energetic and lively in every lesson to bring language to life.
I follow a simple rule "Each student is different" Students learn at their own pace with their own learning styles and this is why we will discuss what exactly you would want to achieve.
