Hello students!
I am thrilled to share my expertise with you as a national and state chess champion and as someone who has been ranked in the top 100 in the US for the age of 15.
My tutoring process focuses on developing a strong foundation of chess strategies and tactics, while also encouraging creative and independent thinking. My approach to chess education involves breaking down complex concepts into simpler, understandable components, allowing students to progress at their own pace.
Here's what you can expect from my tutoring process:
Assessment: Before we begin, I will assess your current chess knowledge and understanding to determine what areas need the most improvement.
Fundamentals: We will cover the basics of chess including the rules, notation, and how each piece moves. We'll also discuss some common tactics and strategies to help you develop your chess intuition.
Study: I will provide you with relevant chess problems and exercises to solve on your own time to reinforce the concepts we've covered. You'll also receive personalized feedback on your progress.
Analysis: After each game, we will review the moves together and analyze what could have been done differently. This helps you to understand the thought process behind the moves and develop your own critical thinking skills.
Practice: In addition to individual lessons, I will also provide opportunities for you to play against other students and receive constructive feedback from me.
By the end of our lessons, you will have a solid understanding of chess strategies, tactics, and the ability to think critically about the game. And, most importantly, you'll have fun while learning!
I am confident that my expertise and experience as a national and state champion, and being ranked in the top 100 in the US for age 15, can help you achieve your chess goals. Let's work together to help you become a better chess player!
