About Heidi
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a minor in Economics from State University of New York at Cortland. I have consistently kept my GPA above 3.6. I am currently working on obtaining a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics.
In the past, I tutored advanced math and science as a Professional Tutor at a local community college where I balanced multiple priorities, assisted students with questions in a timely manner, and learned how to effectively communicate with a variety of students. I was also a teambuilder and presenter at several conferences and trainings where I developed in leadership roles.

I approach each topic with patience and a positive attitude. I prefer to ask guiding questions to keep the students involved in the learning. I am very encouraging and have the students summarize each lesson to show they have a deeper understanding of the concepts.
