About Liam

I am a native bilingual teacher and tutor. I am a certified and active English language instructor, and transfer my teaching skills to provide French language tutoring as well. I love languages and have a knack for picking them up easily. My education background is in cognitive science of language, linguistics, psychology, and English language teaching. I have expertise in teaching adult literacy, identifying and accommodating learners with special needs and disabilities, and cross-cultural communication. I pride myself on my ability to never stop learning how I can best teach and help my students in a supportive and open-minded environment!

About the lesson

I create language lessons to address your specific interests and needs. All levels are welcome, whether you're a real beginner or want to strengthen your language skills. I like to make sure my lessons are welcoming, fun, and interesting by using interactive and engaging lesson activities. The last thing I want is for you to feel bored or burdened, so let's enjoy this language journey together!

I worked with Liam for two years at a local settlement organization. Liam is very professional, empathetic, and creative as a language educator. I have no doubt this would extend in a tutoring/online capacity. Liam is a gem!
