About Beatriz
I'm an International Relations major, and, because of the nature of this field, I understand the difficulties of learning a language and sometimes it not being used in everyday situations. I also have five years of experience, which helped me see foreigners' main struggles with language and gather resources to help. That is why I want to help you improve your Portuguese skills in comprehension, and speaking while immersing you in Brazilian culture and art. Learn the language and have fun while doing it!

I have five years of experience, during this time I learnt the main struggles people have with their first contact with language and gathered a lot of resources to help. During the classes, I always try to understand the students' goals with the language, focusing on the vocabulary they use the most, and I give many pronunciation exercises. Before reaching classes, I'll try to understand your previous knowledge of the language, in oral communication and grammatical terms. Then, having this information, we'll start our classes, in which the teaching method is based on day-to-day situations, things you will say, listen to and write in everyday situations. In addition to that, I constantly immerse my students in Brazilian culture, using music, films and short stories. So you can have fun and learn at the same time! I can teach kids from 10 years old to adult people.
