About Dong Yi
I am an engineer, sustainability enthusiast, and avid traveler. I am originally from China and now reside in the United States. Outside of work, I love meeting people from different cultural backgrounds to expand my knowledge about other parts of the world that I am unfamiliar with; and at the same time, share my knowledge of the Chinese and American culture!

My teaching style is based on empirical method. First, I prefer to get to know my students to get a good grasp of their personality and learning style. This way, I can adjust my teaching style and be flexible. After the students learn the basic, then we work together on learning how to apply these basic knowledge in real life applications.
