About Chongyi

Hi! I'm a native Mandarin speaker from China, currently studying at university in London. I'm passionate about languages, culture, and helping others learn in a relaxed and supportive environment. As someone living abroad, I understand the value of language in building connections and confidence. I'm patient, friendly, and always happy to adapt my teaching style to suit different learning goals—whether you're learning Chinese for travel, study, business, or just for fun! About the lesson

Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes and can be adjusted based on your preferences. I offer lessons for complete beginners, intermediate learners, or anyone interested in improving their spoken or written Chinese, including children (age 8+), teenagers, and adults. As a native Mandarin speaker and current university student based in London, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can explain Chinese in both English and Mandarin. I have experience helping non-native speakers improve their conversational Chinese and prepare for travel, exams, or personal interest. Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to polish your skills, I’ll guide you step by step with patience and encouragement.
