Hi, my name is Yaning. I am a native Chinese speaker, born and raised in China, and I have been living in Australia for over 12 years. I hold a Bachelor of Nursing and work as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) in an ICU. My background in healthcare has strengthened my communication skills, patience, and ability to explain complex concepts clearly—qualities that I apply in my tutoring sessions. Despite my career in nursing, I have a strong passion for teaching and helping others learn Mandarin. I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can tailor my teaching methods to suit each student’s needs, whether they are beginners or advanced learners. In addition to language skills, I also offer cultural insights, helping students understand Chinese traditions, etiquette, and daily expressions.
