About Henrique
I am a native Brazilian, born and raised in Brazil. I have a degree in Design and have been working both as a full-time filmmaker and ESL teacher for the past 6 years.
I have taught multiple languages, including English, Portuguese, and Japanese, both online and in person.
I am an avid reader and love to learn new things, so I incorporate that wonder into my work, inviting my students into a world they want to decipher in their new languages. It's like being a baby all over again, everything is so new and interesting, that is what I love about learning new languages, and is what I hope to instill in you as we go through the process

I build customized curricula based on the students' goals, circumstances, and personal interests so that they can learn vocabulary that sticks easily!
I also help with pronunciation and enunciation techniques, as well as give you lots of cool content to consume so you can be immersed in the language right from home!
I can do individual or small group lessons. No lesson plan is the same for me, all of them are customized and specific to my students' actual needs.
I focus on real-life spoken Portuguese that you will be able to understand and use when you finally make that Brazil trip you've been telling people on Tinder about, lol!
