About MARIANA SOFÍA
Hello, I’m Mariana Sofía. I was born and raised in Colombia, and I am fluent in English after moving to New Zealand, where I am currently completing my secondary studies. I deeply love my country and my language, and I know many people are interested in Spanish for different reasons, which is why I would love to offer my services as a tutor. Immigrating has helped me become better at translating ideas and explaining concepts clearly, so my teaching style is practical, patient, and empathetic, always focused on helping students feel comfortable and confident while learning in every single lesson.

Hello, I’m Mariana Acosta, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia currently studying my final year of secondary school in New Zealand. I offer Spanish tutoring for beginners, intermediate learners, and school students who want extra support or more confidence with the language.
My teaching style is supportive and very practical. I focus on helping students actually use Spanish in real situations through conversation practice, pronunciation work, vocabulary building, and simple grammar explained in a clear way. I like to adapt each lesson to the student’s goals and learning style so they feel comfortable and motivated.
