About Fionnuala
I currently teach English as a foreign language in a school in Athens, managing classes of around 10 students aged 7-14. I plan their classes for the years curriculum, adapting the courses to the needs of the students and helping them on their way to fluency. I also tutor young students online, guiding them through their course with a strong focus on speaking and listening.
I am a native English speaker and have a TEFL qualification, plus a second TEFL certificate focused on online teaching.
I have a First Class BA(Hons) in Fine Art and a love of languages. I am currently learning Greek and so understand the challenges that come with learning a new language and how to overcome these.

My teaching method will be tailored to the needs, age and level of each student, however I place high importance on speaking practice, including this as much as possible to increase confidence and command of the English language.
Whether your lesson is for exam preparation, professional or personal development I will always include an oral element. Speaking is best and fastest way to learn a language and build your confidence in it.
