About Josh

I studied at the University of Sheffield and am an English teacher by profession. I have been teaching English online for several months now and currently I'm tutoring four adult students on a one-to-one basis.

I am passionate about enriching student's lives by helping them to gain language skills that will allow them to thrive and succeed in the business world and in everyday life.

About the lesson

I provide a teaching service which is uniquely tailored to each student's needs as I know that every person is different and can benefit from differing approaches!

Our first lesson will be a FREE get to know you session (yes, I did say free). I will find out about your likes and dislikes so that I can choose relevant and engaging material for our lessons and also find where your strengths and weaknesses lie in the target language so that we can create a targeted plan together to improve your English as a whole.

I employ a communicate teaching method and use examples to convey meaning when teaching new vocuabulary. I use a wide range of materials to keep students engaged. These can be anything from traditional lessons out of a coursebook to authentic reading, listening or visual materials for more advanced students.
