About Jack

I am a masters graduate in History and International Relations, from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Born and raised in the south of England, I am happy to help with conversation practice, vocabulary lessons, and assistance with academic and professional writing. Throughout university I often helped international friends with their assignments and general English skills. I am patient, encouraging and my speech is naturally slow and easy to understand!

About the lesson

There is no such thing as a normal class!! Each class is different depending on the needs of each pupil. However, most classes are between 1-2 hours and consist mostly of conversational practice (either themed, formal or casual), followed by an explanation of what was good and what needs improving. I have a selection of interesting texts to improve reading comprehension. I can also talk people through texts they have already written, or assist with writing in class. While theory is of course important, the classes will be focussed on practice, because in my experience this is the most efficient and fun way to learn!

Classes will be taught almost entirely in English, and therefore are only suitable for intermediate - advanced English speakers.

Me estuvo ayudando un montón cuando iba a la universidad en Escocia. Practicabamos sobre todo mi speaking y writing. A base de juegos y trucos muy eficaces, pude mejorar en esas áreas muy rápido.
Es una persona tranquila, atenta, con un acento muy fácil de entender y que se adapta a ti sin ningún problema. Es divertido pero también es una persona sería en la que se puede confiar.
¡Completamente recomendable!
