About Silas
I aim to create an intentional, fun, and focused environment for you to hone your English skills. My goal is to see you succeed in English speaking and be able to communicate easily with other English speakers! I am certified as a TESOL teacher from Kennesaw State University and would love to share my experience as a long-time native English speaker.

My teaching method is very conversational and relaxed- however, it remains structured, reviewing current vocabulary and grammar, followed by a steady introduction of new concepts.
A typical lesson begins with a conversation on a simple subject that we can both relate to. Then, the introduction and explanation of new vocabulary words and grammar concepts. The lesson generally ends with further conversation and review of prior learned information.
The most important thing to me as a tutor is to make sure that learning is fun, comfortable, and what works for my students. I will go to creative lengths to make sure that the time my students spend with me is well invested.
My lessons are intended for students who can speak English well enough to have brief conversations with the intent of growing to fluency.
