About Ally
I am a TAFE student currently studying Youth Work, looking to help kids learn English. I have always have always enjoyed English in school environments and hope to share that joy with other young people. I have an immense love of literature and am an avid writer.

I believe in the Montessori method. I think it's a great way for kids to get involved in their own learning, while still acquiring all the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. I do not solely practice this method, but I do believe it helps kids reach their goals while obtaining new life skills. The main aspect of this method I use is allowing children to pick what they want to learn from a variety of level appropriate activities I have selected. I'm very flexible with lesson lengths, I typically like sessions to last for at least 30 minutes, to allow time for students to get settled and become familiar with a topic before having to leave. I am open to tutoring adults, with my main focus being teaching children of any age.
