About Leila
Hello! My name is Leila, and I'm a recent college graduate with a double degree in Spanish and International Studies currently living in Hamburg, Germany. I have tutored both Spanish and English, mostly to young adults, but I am happy to help any age group. Lessons can be in-person within the Hamburg area, or online. I look forward to hearing from you!

I like to lay a groundwork of grammar, but focus on understanding it through repetition in conversation rather than grammar drills devoid of context. I believe having a large vocabulary and not being afraid to express yourself in a creative, if not always 100% grammatically correct way, are the cornerstones to becoming comfortable in a language. I can tailor vocabulary to your needs; I do have specific expertise in legal Spanish/English translation.
