Hi, I'm Claudia! I am originally from California, USA, but now live in Spain. Moving abroad has taught me the importance of learning a second language, and how great it can be for making friends, finding jobs, traveling, and more! English is a language that connects people across so many cities, countries, and cultures. If you want to improve your English and open yourself up to the world of possibilities that knowing this language can create, I am here to help you!

I am a friendly and outgoing teacher whose main goal is to get you to practice speaking! A typical lesson would emphasize the importance of conversation - which is the main way we can use our second language to connect with the world! I enjoy learning about what my students are interested in and coming up with conversation topics that are engaging and enjoyable for both of us.
I have over two years of experience teaching ESL in a formal classroom setting, so can also prepare materials focused on grammar, vocabulary, and more. I have worked with children ages 5-18, and adults.
I have been conducting one-on-one tutoring sessions with students since 2022. For each student, I create and share the link to a google drive containing materials that they can access at any time.
Whether you want to improve your grades in English class, prepare for an exam, or simply feel more comfortable speaking English, I am here to help you!
