About Muhammed
I'm an American educator with a lifelong connection to Arabic. I grew up living abroad — including time in Saudi Arabia, where I studied Arabic formally and immersed myself in the language and culture at its source. That's where my fluency comes from: real, sustained study, not just casual exposure.
Academically, I hold a B.A. in Arabic Language, an Arabic Language Diploma from Qassim University, and an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which shapes how I approach teaching — breaking language down into clear, logical structures rather than relying on rote memorization. I've taught Arabic professionally for over 15 years, including classroom experience at Bright Horizons Academy, and I'm also a published author, having written a children's book exploring Arabic and history for young readers.
I take teaching seriously: lessons are structured, consistent, and built around your actual goals, whether that's conversation, reading, writing, or a deeper academic foundation. You're not getting a hobbyist — you're getting a trained, experienced teacher who genuinely cares about your progress.

My approach is built around structured grammar, not casual conversation. Most Arabic teachers are native speakers who've never had to learn the rules themselves — I have. I studied Arabic formally, including classical training in Saudi Arabia, and I've spent 15+ years teaching English speakers specifically, so I know exactly where beginners get stuck and how to explain it in a way that clicks.
A typical lesson breaks a concept into rules, examples, and drills — no vague "just listen and absorb it" method. We build from letters and sounds up through sentence structure, at a pace that makes sense rather than overwhelms.
What sets me apart: I'm not just fluent, I'm trained to teach — with formal degrees in Arabic language and a background in structured, analytical thinking from my graduate work in AI. Lessons are suited for true beginners through intermediate learners, whether you're learning for travel, faith, heritage, or academic reasons.
