Native Farsi Speaker Teaching Conversation, Reading, Writing & Persian Poetry for Beginners and Beyond

Perfect! I was nervous to begin lessons with Shahrzad, but she’s made the learning process so approachable. You can expect tailored lesson plans, plenty of encouragement, and thoughtful assignments between sessions to help the lessons stick. She’s an excellent teacher - highly recommend!

Perfect! Shahrzad has been a truly wonderful teacher. As an Iranian born and raised in the United States, I primarily spoke English growing up and have always felt somewhat insecure about my Farsi speaking abilities. From the very beginning, Shahrzad created a supportive and welcoming environment where I felt comfortable making mistakes and learning without judgment.

I absolutely love her teaching methods. After each lesson, she sends homework along with voice recordings reviewing exactly what we covered that day. This has been incredibly helpful and goes far beyond what many tutors and teachers I have worked with have provided.

If you are looking to learn Farsi or improve your language skills, I highly recommend Shahrzad. She is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in her student’s success! You can feel how much she cares! I feel very grateful to have found her!

Her lessons are well-structured but never boring, she explains grammar clearly, introduces vocabulary in a practical way, and always makes sure I truly understand before moving on.

What I appreciate most is how she adapts her teaching style to my level and learning pace. She mixes speaking, listening, reading, and cultural context, which makes the language feel alive and meaningful rather than memorized. She also corrects mistakes gently and clearly, which has helped me gain confidence when speaking.
