About Paula
I am an opera singer with a BA and MM in voice performance. I also speak intermediate German and have sung in French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. I've been giving lessons to kids from toddlers to elementary aged kids for 3 years. Many of them have learned the nuances of pronunciation and the importance of training your tongue in order to communicate like a native.

It all depends on the age and level of proficiency of the student I am teaching. I work with any age, and develop a plan based on where they are at with the language. The most important things I focus on are: grammar, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading, and writing. These are skills that I help my students develop through exercises and examples. After evaluating my student, their goals, and their current level of proficiency, I can provide them with the necessary tools to reach a higher proficiency level in each of the aforementioned areas.
