About Sacha

I was born in France, but raised in New York at a bilingual, international school. I went through both the French and American curriculums for language, mathematics, humanities, and sciences until junior year of high school, when I integrated the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, from which I graduated in the top 1% worldwide with perfect scores in French and English.

I have tutored primary and secondary school aged kids in French, English, and Math, and loved every minute of it.

About the lesson

My teaching method is designed around students' individual needs and desires in regards to learning language. However, the core of my teaching at any level revolves around projects. I have students work on the language through trip planning and virtual explorations of France, story writing, talking about cinematography, and more.

For primary school children, I focus on conversation, vocabulary, and structuring sentences.
For secondary school children and adults, I evaluate the student's level and needs, then tailor sessions to them, incorporating vocabulary, comprehension, grammar, and more into lessons that seek to engage students in discussion rather than simply lecture or talk at them.
