About Jean-Marie

Bonjour! I'm Jean-Marie, a native French speaker based in Dubai. I'm a commercial pilot and flight instructor, and for the past 10 years teaching has been a big part of my career. Training pilots has taught me patience, clear communication, and how to help people build real confidence step by step.

I speak both French and English fluently, so I can explain things clearly in English when needed, which is especially helpful for beginners. Living in an international city like Dubai, I work every day with people from all over the world, and I understand the challenges of learning and using a new language.

I want to teach French because I love sharing my language and culture, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student go from hesitating to speaking with confidence. My goal is to make every lesson practical, enjoyable, and adapted to you.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you on your French journey. À bientôt!

About the lesson

Learning French should feel natural, not stressful. My online lessons are built around you: your level, your goals, and your pace. Whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for travel, working with French speakers, or getting ready for the DELF/DALF exams, I create a clear plan so you can see your progress.

From the very first lesson, you'll speak. I focus on real conversation and everyday situations, and I explain grammar and vocabulary simply, without overwhelming you. I also help with pronunciation so you sound confident and natural.

As a professional flight instructor with 10 years of teaching experience, I know how to break complex topics into simple steps and keep students motivated. I bring that same structured, patient approach to every French lesson.

All lessons take place online via Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, so you can learn comfortably from anywhere. After each session, I share notes and short exercises to help you keep improving between lessons.

Book your first lesson and let's start speaking French together!
