About Gachon

Bonjour! I’m Matthieu Gachon, a native French speaker with three years of experience tutoring students of all ages and levels. I have helped beginners build a strong foundation, intermediate learners gain confidence in speaking and writing, and advanced students refine their skills for academic or professional purposes.

I bring a structured and personalized approach to every lesson, combining grammar, vocabulary, conversation practice, and cultural insights. My goal is to help students progress efficiently while keeping lessons engaging and interactive.

Students can expect clear explanations, consistent feedback, and lessons tailored to their individual needs and objectives. My experience as a native speaker allows me to provide authentic guidance and practical strategies to improve fluency, comprehension, and confidence in French.

About the lesson

My approach as a French tutor is centered on personalization, engagement, and practical language use. As a native French speaker with three years of tutoring experience, I adapt every lesson to the student’s level, goals, and preferred learning style, making each session interactive, effective, and enjoyable.

My teaching method focuses on four key areas:
• Comprehension and conversation to build confidence in speaking
• Grammar and vocabulary development for solid language foundations
• Reading and writing exercises to reinforce understanding
• Cultural insights to give students an authentic experience of the French language

A typical lesson is structured yet flexible:
• Warm-up with conversation or review of previous material
• Targeted exercises focused on grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation
• Interactive practice through dialogues, role-plays, or reading passages
• Recap and actionable tips for independent practice between sessions

What sets me apart is my combination of being a native speaker and having hands-on tutoring experience with learners of all ages. I focus on making lessons engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s objectives, ensuring progress in both comprehension and confidence.

My lessons are for:
• Beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of French
• Intermediate learners aiming to improve fluency and communication skills
• Advanced students seeking refinement in grammar, writing, and pronunciation
• Students preparing for exams, school classes, or professional use
