About Alyssa
I have assisted in secondary level French classes, providing help in the pupils' written work, pronunciation and leading some listening exercises.
As French teaching is my family's profession, I have access to techniques and materials that have helped students gain outstanding grades (A-A* all levels up to A Level) along with a true joy for learning the language.

I am a native speaker of French, raised in London. I am a freelance translator and university student of literature and languages, and having been surrounded by French tutoring since childhood, I am ready to offer French lessons for all levels.
Whether you're a beginner or primary/secondary student, in need of practise for business or a holiday, or just want to learn French for fun, I will cater my lessons to your level and needs.
I intend to start with some French conversation and some short written exercises to see where the gaps are and what vocabulary and grammar need working on.
Lessons will use as much French language and culture as possible for a full immersion - real French materials will be used to see French phrases and vocabulary in real life application.
As a student, I understand the difficulties and shyness that come with speaking in another tongue. I intend to use my friendly and relaxed nature to ensure students are comfortable to speak and practise, so you can make the most of our lessons together.
